Perlu Internasionalisasi atau Dekolonisasi?

Tahun 2013 diawali oleh satu peristiwa penting di sektor pendidikan nasional. Pada sidang tanggal 8 Januari, Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) akhirnya memutuskan membatalkan Pasal 50 UU No.20/2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Ayat 3 dari Pasal 50 tersebut adalah landasan hukum pelaksanaan Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional (RSBI) yang kini (sampai akhir 2012) sudah mencapai jumlah sekitar 1.300 di seluruh Indonesia. Alasan utama keputusan MK adalah bahwa RSBI pada dasarnya melanggar amanah konstitusi (UUD 1945) tentang kewajiban negara (pemerintah) menyediakan pelayanan pendidikan dasar kepada warganya tanpa perkecualian apapun. Kebijakan dan pelaksanaan RSBI justru mengarah pada adanya diskriminasi tersebut.

Physclips is a multimedia introduction to areas of physics. Currently, it a fairly complete introduction to mechanics, waves and sound, and has some resources for other topics. For mechanics, waves and sound, it covers approximately the syllabus of an introductory university course in that discipline. Because it starts from the beginning, however, it also covers much of the material taught in high school physics courses.
